WOW! Is it really April? Is it really April 14, 11:40 pm? Time goes real fast. For the past few days, I have really felt like my old self again because I have been racing the clock going 90 miles an hour. GO..GO..GO.. We have been going none stop today and all weekend for that matter. When you know you’ve got something like this coming up, you try and get things done over time, but it never fails that at the end I still have a million things to do. We had a ballgame to go to tonight in Denver City, so that made things even faster, but I wouldn’t have missed it, especially since I can’t be at the one on Wednesday. Mason and his crew played well!
Well….I am glad to say I AM NOT nervous, anxious, worried or any of that! I just wanted to write enough to let you all know that. I am excited! AND I KNOW that God is in control!
Please pray for no complications and a smooth ride through the surgery, oh yea AND….a good pain tolerance! I know you are praying for me and the surgeons and nurses. Your prayers are very powerful, and words cannot express how much I thank you for them, and I thank YOU God….for answering them.
With love from the depths of my heart,
Angela

I prayed for you last night and started this morning the minute I woke up, I told Kent…”today is the day”..he said “I know, I’ve already started praying”..so we started early this morning. I know you feel every prayer that is going out for you and your family and the medical team today. We will continue to pray for no complications and a speedy recovery!!!!
Love ya
Leann and Kent
I’ve been praying for you and your doctors and nurses all morning. I got up at 5:30 and you were the first thing on my mind, I figured you were up too, maybe even on your way to the hospital. As I walked out the door at 7:30, I wondered what was going on with you right at that moment. It’s so awesome to know that Jesus is right there beside you, holding your hand through the whole thing, He is so amazing! Cole was looking for his pink baseball shirt last night because it was very important to him today to wear pink at school for you. I know you already know how much the kids love you but I want you to know what it means to me, as a mother, to know that my 16 year old is praying for you and what an impact you’ve had on his life. You’re an incredible witness to all ages and I thank you. It’s tough to raise teenagers, but with teachers and friends like you, it just makes my job a little easier. I will continue to lift you up in prayer throughout the day. I am looking forward to a text message telling me that you are doing fabulous!! I love you, Patty
Hey Angela,
You have got to be feeling no worries at all with all these prayers going up for you girl. I know God is giving you peace and healing right now because I am positive that is what he is getting an ear full of right now. I wish you could have seen all the pink shirts at school. I saw several when I dropped Haley off this morning. I will have to agree with Patty that it is so marvelous to have a wonderful Christian influence for our kids today because that is so rare for kids to get to see. God needs to be shown more in people’s lives and I am so thankful that at school my child can see that through people like you. I will be thinking of you all day and hope you know how special you are too sooooo many people.
Love you,Delisa
I wanted to tell you how much you have been on my heart. I hear all about you and your strength through many of our friends. I will be praying for a safe and speedy recovery and that all goes well. You are truly an amazing woman…..

Angela,
I am so glad that you made it through the surgery so smoothly. I was praying all day yesterday and today that you come out of this with all the strength to keep on going without this ugly monster ruling your life. You are such an insperation and blessing to so many people that you have ever come in contact with. You are an angel in waiting and God has a special pair of wings just for you. God is so good and loving and I thank him daily for giving us people in this world like you that just influence everyone you are around.
Love and prayers

PRAISE GOD you are through with the surgery and he was right there with you just as I knew he would be because he is so faithful to take care of us and hear our prayers. I thought about you all day today and my prayers were continually going upward. Keep Jason’s little boy Jaden in your prayers he is going to have surgery Friday they are taking his tonsils and adnoids out and putting tubes in his ears. Take care and know we love you. Love Karen&Sid
Dear Angela,
So many prayers went up for you yesterday. I even wrote a reminder on my board in class. It was wonderful to see all the pink on everyone also We’ll keep those prayers going today and as you continue to heal. So glad things went well. The hardest parts are over now! We love you.

Good morning sweet girl! I bet you’re loving pain medicine this morning. I pray you’re not hurting too bad. I know that your sweet family is reading people’s comments to you while you’re there so I thought I’d try to lift your spirits this morning. I guess Mason’s game was on my mind because I had a dream last night that we were all at a basketball game together. You looked incredible and were so vibrant and happy. You were cheering the kids on and just being your same ole’ self. I woke up feeling so good about everything and could just feel the Holy Spirit’s reassurance that you are going to be great! Praise God, there will be lots of basketball, football and baseball games, not to mention plenty of dance, cheer and ballet in your life to keep you cheering for years to come! Mason’s going to do great today because he’s your kid! Again, let me know if you need any help with the kids or anything. I love you! Patty
Sending our love and prayers. You and your family are special to us and we pray each day is a good day!

Hey Angela, Hope things are going well for you today. We will continue to send our love and prayers your way. Love Karen&Sid
Angela…I haven’t been able to think of anything other than you laid up over there in Lubbock in that hospital. I hope all is going well. I would so love to be able to fly over there and visit with you, maybe just see your doing okay with my own eyes (you might not feel much like visiting). In a weird way it made me feel really good to see Mason running after Sofie this morning….made life feel okay and normal. I know God is with you and his healing hands are on you but I’m really ready for this whole thing to be over and you to just be Angela again. This morning we had the wonderful blessing of Miss Brynn singing to us,”My mom is coming home, my mommy is coming home today, the cancer is gone for good and my mom is coming home.” Wow, I just had to clench my teeth and drive. You do know God speaks so clear through little children. I love you and your family so much. You all have blessed my life so much. And I know it is because you have allowed God to use you to bless us all that he will bring you a quick healing. Can’t wait to see you sweet smile. Love Miss
Hey Angela,
I hope that you are doing well and getting to go home today!!!! I am sure that you would heal better in your own bed!!! Take care and I am so glad that everything went well!!!

I was so glad to get the text saying that the tests from the surgery are all clear! There’s no cancer anywhere! Praise God!! Missy is right, God does speak so loud and clear through His precious little ones. Brynn already knew it was gone and that her Mommy is coming home cancer free! Wow! The blessing just continue to pour down! I know the kids can’t wait for you to get home! I hope you are feeling great. Let me know if there is anything you need. Love ya bunches, Patty
